Sterling Catches & Stringing Beads like a Pro, Part 1

Learn how to make sterling silver catches, as well as how to string beads the correct way using a tool that turns crimp beads into round beads, while locking the strand into place- even better than any knot can. Students can bring their own beads or purchase some from the Riverwalk's selection.

This is a two-week class. Jays Gardner will teach you techniques and give design tips that will make your jewelry truly unique. 18+ only; beginners welcome.

Jayn Gardner has been a silversmith for over thirty years. Originally she trained at the University of New Mexico. She also studied lapidary arts (stone cutting) at the college of Santa Fe. She enjoys teaching and has been doing so for over fifteen years.
